Mountains

Kyrgyzstan is 90% mountains. The Tien Shan range — "Celestial Mountains" — dominates the landscape with peaks reaching 7,439 meters. This is Central Asia's rooftop, and it's wilder than you think.

Ala-Archa National Park sits just 40 minutes from Bishkek, with glacier-fed rivers and 4,000m peaks. Further south, Khan Tengri (7,010m) and Jengish Chokusu (7,439m) challenge the most experienced mountaineers. In between lie endless alpine meadows, jailoo pastures, and valleys that feel untouched by time.

Whether you want a day hike or a multi-week expedition, the mountains here deliver. Clear skies, dramatic ridges, and absolute silence — this is what "getting away from it all" actually means.
